Mountain Log Index > Entry January 15th: Mangerton A miserable day with low cloud, strong winds and heavy rain. The five brave souls who turned up reckoned that it was not worth while heading further west for the intended climb and we fell back on the club policy of: "When in danger or in doubt; Get you Mangerton Route Card out!" And wet and windy though it was, it was most enjoyable none the less. A goodly meal back at The Mills completed the day to everyone's satisfaction.
